Who does not want to be successful in life? Success is what everybody in this world strives to achieve, but not everybody can taste it because they do not know how. To be successful you must take some decisions, you must know what you want to accomplish and create a strategic plan as a guideline to get the ultimate results you want for your life. College is one of the tools you can use to be successful because it gives you the necessary skills to succeed and prepares you for a career. Been successful in College will show you what determination and commitment can do; it will give you the trust you need in yourself to get anything you want in life. Success means to take control over your career, to accomplish your goals, but before you can†¦show more content†¦You can have plenty of motivations but what you need to do is to keep that motivation, is to be determined to learn all you need to be successful. When people want something and are able to do whatever it takes to get it is going to happen. To get success in College you need to develop skills that are going to help you toward that success. You need to improve your reading and study skills, your critical thinking skills, ability to meet deadlines and all those skills that are going to help you to finish papers, assignments, pass tests and in general getting the grades you need to satisfactory complete your degree. The first step you need to do is to set goals that are going to keep you moving toward what you really want. You have long term, short term and immediate goals. All this goals are related; to reach short term goals you need to set the immediate ones and to get long term goals you need to set your short tem goals. Examples of goals in College could be graduated with honors as a long term goal, to graduated with honors you need to get good grades (short term goal), and to get good grades you need to attend class everyday, study daily and prepare for exams (immediate goals). Goals are very important; every decisio n you have to make is going to take your goals into account and these goals are going to keep you focus on what you want.
